Meet Our Guest

Heather Lord is a graduate of La Roche University with a Degree in Psychology and with an emphasis on Animal Science and Psychology. Heather started her career at Nationwide Insurance, where she inspected homes for insurability. From there, she was recruited to Royal Canin Veterinary Diets, an M&M Mars Company. It was at Royal Canin where Heather’s career in the healthcare industry began. During her seven+ year tenure, she rose to Sr. District Manager, providing the crucial link between veterinarians and superior nutrition for disease-state dogs and cats. From there, Heather entered the tech world at AthenaHealth, the largest third-party biller in the U.S., where she managed a sales team and more than 200 distribution partners across 13 states. Her team played a critical role in the field, introducing and selling cloud-based healthcare solutions to licensed healthcare practitioners.
